Data communication enables transfer of data between two or more devices. In order to achieve this communication, internet should connect these devices to share data across.
The applications and use cases of the data communication includes email communication, FTP (File transfer protocol), SMS, information sharing through web, instant messaging, parallel computing etc.
Data communication is sometimes referred as digital communication and also involves media.
In data communication, Analog transmission is a method of transferring audio, data, image, documents, signal or video information using a continuous signal which varies in phase and amplitude or any other property in proportion to that of a variable.
In order to send or recieve data, source (sender) and destination (receiver) will be involved in the communication channel. Generally there will be 5 types of components listed below
